Orryelle Defenestrate-Bascule:

As I attempted to explain in the previous page ('Part IV: Completion and Results'), the most essential Word of Power I realized throughout the whole process is ironically inexpressible even with the voice.
However I also distilled an Utterance- a string of old Words of Power (in the sense both of those I had already worked with myself, and old as Ancient Egypt is old) which combined in a new sequence created a rhythmic magickal resonance and new understanding for me:

IAHM MutAtuM Kneph Khnum Ptah-Sokar Aker

IAHM is a formulaic Word I have used for some years and I will not reiterate its multi-layered meanings here as they have been somewhat explained already in the commentary of The Book of Going Back by Night Chapter II.
In the context of this new phrase it primarily provides an invocational 'I am' (as well as the other meanings inherent) bringing the composite Godforms of the utterance into the Self.
MutAtuM is the Egyptian Creator Atum, Who masturbated the universe into existence, combined with the vulture Mother Goddess Mut to form a reflective (aurally and visually) primal Creatrix.
This is then rhymed with two names of another primal creator-God -that of Upper Egypt- horned Khnum or Kneph Who made humanity on His potter's wheel. I felt the presence of this ancient Horned God strongly during the working, and explored His energies further when I later travelled down the Nile to His ancient cult centre of Elephantine island.
The crafting of humanity into form from clay is a creative act later associated in Lower Egypt with Ptah, the primary architect, bringing us to the next part of the Utterance.
Ptah was in other myth variants said to have created the universe with the Word, so here the essence of the power of the sonic vibration itself is summated. In years of exploration of the Egyptian mysteries I had never really explored the deity Ptah before, but became attracted to Him on this journey, appropriately to the Vissudha working. He was also the primary God of the region we were working in, near His cult centre of Memphis, over-which He reigned with His consort Sekhmet, Who of course has been prevalent for me for some time as Goddess of Kundalini, and thus pertinent to any chakra workings. In Saqqara I began to understand their relationship, She as the Creative Fire within which rises into the throat to manifest energy into form via the Logos.

Ptah-Sokar is a hybrid Godform (often conflated with Osiris also) I discovered in the Saqqara Museum. Sokar is the Hidden One, a God of darkness and of Death, so I sensed an interesting duality with Him and Ptah as a kind of Creator-Destroyer composite. This was expressed vocally to great effect in our group visit to the Red Pyramid, when I first realized this part of the utterance as a powerful mantra unto itself - 'Ptah-Sokar' -and one which complements the Sekhmet mantra 'Sa Sekhem Sahu' perfectly also.

So the final Word in my Utterance is 'Aker' -the Egyptian double lion of the two horizons, of dusk and dawn- a symbol of polarities merged. In this case it relates to Ptah and Sokar as creation and destruction, beginning and end, Alpha and Omega; and also to MutAtuM in the same way, Atum relating to Aker as the double-lion Hrumachis, glyphed by the Sphinx which has long been known as 'Sheshep Ankh Atum' -the 'Living Image of Atum'.

So many associations of different streams of tradition in different Egyptian locales and dynasties inter-relate and merge in this Magickal Utterance; although it may be too esoteric for some, for me when I speak it, I can feel its power regardless of the connections inherent: It expresses the prime current of creative power coming forth into manifestation via the Word, via intonation itself, via the Vissudha Chakra.


Ptah and Knum creating forms from clay is another aspect of their work I relate to strongly with my personal magicks, as I have in recent years rediscovered the beauty and immediacy of this primal medium. Now I have returned to Australia I have created a clay statue of His consort Sekhmet (left -more pictures of the statue HERE), invoking Ptah in Pygmalion-like reflection.
After recently marvelling at the wondrous reifications of deity in earth and stone in Italy, Greece, Egypt and India, I have fully realized how vital this medium is for literally earthing spirit -the perfect medium for the artist-magickian.




Ptah is the Ancient Egyptian patron of the Arts, so this explains much of my attraction to Him also. How wonderful it was on visiting the Cairo Museum after my whole Vissudha journey with him to see the actual tools the ancients used which was the material basis of the hieroglyph for Ptah (right), a kind of set-square for measuring angles, and reading on the placard of what this instrument is: 'A Bascule' -a new and hitherto unknown to me form of half of my last name!

Here are some preliminary transmissions from the Egypt Working. Most were received the day after the working, a day when from the moment of rising, Hashish was offered to me by our Egyptian hosts as if to aid transmission and gnosis, and running right through to airport scribblings and flight to a couple of days ago on the bus to work, in Phone-Call-Doodle- Gnosis...

Pure and unedited, though they may benefit from some of that: it's disjointed in places but shares many similar themes throughout. The pyramids below are composed of the Words received, both during the rite (Sukar Soma Se), a little before (Nefti! To create the full phrase Nefti! Sukar Soma Se!) and after in the Cairo museum - one, Shum-Shum-Na at Stele 666 (still retaining its original label though also a new one with a new number in the late thousands) and another at an unidentified Stele depicting Isis in the centre - Talnakhtnef.


The original vision was of a door with two pillars either side - within the door were seated a hermaphrodite Horus and Seth as king/queens of Upper and Lower Egypt. Initally the pyramid semed blank but within, on four walls, are written the Secrets of the Western Dust, of the Southern Skulls, of the Eastern Bone and the North Wall. Yet to be chanelled fully, the following i the coming of Imhotep to show these things - as it seems these were his original designs for a pyrmaid - possibly the one that we did the glossolalia working in, but this is as yet unclear.

To open the door and free the grimoire: a figure of Imhotep stands without hands uttering a silent word - with the hands of Ptah, master craftsman, wrapped around his staff, replace Imhotep's hands wrapped around the staff, and his words are shewn within the inner sanctuary of the pyramid. Imhotep's gender-speak seems bias to the masculine but I think that's a product of his times - or my own hand...

THE COMING OF A GRIMOIRE

Lo! Become as that! A fixed and wandering star in the heavens, wandering and fixed in a-ternal orbit. The Son of the Sun.

In the mists of Egypt, Ptah-Imhotep breathes dust. Master Craftsman of the ancient of Days, lifts the hand and moves the tongue to speak:
Long have these lands been cast into the Desert of Set. But new stars fixed on the horizon of Amenta give life, Ankh-orage, to the transmissions of the stars. Stellar Gateways outside of time and space unveil their capsuls to fix wisdom in the minds of men and vision in the hearts of women.

The a-ternal Mother begins a new round of Birth-pangs, canal seething with new life, the next step.

The Aeons of Horus and Maat conjoin in the double-faced one, Upper and Lower Egypt united once more and crowned by the work. Another will come to unlock the secrets of the Southern Skulls.

I have come to unlock the secrets of the Western Dust.

Imhotep! Imhotep! They cried, as I nestled in the bossom of the Great Mother of Amenta. But without the signs and the words, stir I did not. Now I stir, out from the Dust of Khem, the Work at Saqqara breathing the Ankh into my dead third eye, Upper and Lower Egypt united as a new vessel of Stellar Transmission. Many will come to these lands and hear the words I speak. You are the first. Lo to the openers of the Gate. Low to the Projenators of the 8th Key.

You have heard aright that the heiroglyphs can be read another way. These western scholars scratch at the dust and unviel nothing. Truth is the Key
the opening of the heart and the moving of the tongue to speak the names of the dead. This you do, with three eyes open, to reveal the secrets of Khem
to hear the Word and fathom the Voice.

Now the gateway opens to the Voice of the Silence
and many here come into the hearts of the sleepers!


Tef-Net-N'atum breathes the words of the many and distills the nectar into the dust of Khem.

To prepare the way for the star-seed, Lo! To prepare the way for the star-seed!

Speak ye the birthwords in another tongue. Nostromo alles, Melek-Taus. Chosen is the way and spoken only in whispers.

The way is the conjoining of the sun and the moon in Amenta, to birth the one star and penetrate the Holy Mist.

Eight eyes open, six before and two after, These are the keys, and nine are the gates to which they give access. As the towers crumble and the cities fall, the seven crystals will speak again, but in no language yet understood, but by the complexities of light.


This book is no password. Only in the hearts of men do those words lie. It has been four and seven score years since the coming of the beast, and now his time aright...

I would like to spend some brief words on the Workings. I have not any coherent message to put into verses (and what wonderful and meaningfull verses I have red!), but I would like to share my Glossolalia experience.

From the very beginning it felt like a travel, not an emission of something. It has been a shifting, or sliding, of consciusness throught different stages and backgrounds, both aas part of a collective and an individual point-of-view. As if words were fuel and engine of a car without steering. It started as a if I was standing in the eye of a storm, where the storm was all the other people involved, then I became part of the storm and went travelling down and backwards to something past and remote... then suddenly coming back into

individual consciusness in some more advanced stage, then againg to some point down/back in a different position of some inexplicable background. Up and down, up and down... "Up" somtimes had a feeling of future-self, of a more evoluted stage of consciusness, or maybe an "higher" part of the same consciusness (translating time into functions of the psyche seemed very natural in the moment, just an unimportant change in flavour).
Each time I went backwards/downwards I went further/deeper. Some times I felt as if exchanging concepts in some old or future language with someone else in the group, but also as if this exchange was taking place in another time or place, or maybe has already taken place. Some other time I felt I was giving instruction or simply conversing with myself, from some "point" to another "point", and I was also the stage on wich this conversation took place. At the end, I felt totally absorbed in the consciousness of some primordial sea before the dawn of life itself... absorbed and completely ego-less, dispersed.

Then, came the un-magickal word: TIME! ;)
(only partecipants will understand this line....)

Among all of this, the Word I have recived manifested as somethingwith a very firm and solid tactile quality, while the rest was morefluid and not stable. Actually, it is the only sound I remember individually. .. even 5 seconds after the end everything was blurred and melted in a continuum except that Word:

I reacted strongly to what I can only describe as 'jagged' energy emanating around some of the sites. I felt it during my first trip to Giza (before meeting with the rest of the group) and felt it again starkly during the group's trip to Saqqara. I had not expected to feel it on that trip to Saqqara (I had not experienced it when I had been there a few days before) and could not ward it. I ended up feeling very sick (on top of some physical unwellness) and took a couple of days to recover.

Those experiences left me feeling wary of our plans for ritual at Giza and, frankly, more prepared to walk across red-hot razor-blades for an eternity than deal with the crap we would have had to endure to get time inside Unas at Saqqara. I did a reading for myself while everyone else was at Dashur and was grimly unsurprised to be informed that dying can be unpleasant but I was dying for a purpose, so just deal with it. Groovy >:|

In the meantime the preparatory work that were are doing - practicing the chanting, doing more in-depth work with each tone, and the yoga activities that have already been described in detail by Oryelle - were wonderful, invigorating and energising. I loved every minute of it. Considering my own journey, it's probably not surprising that I contributed movements based on the mourning and protective poses of Isis and Nephthys to our pool of resources.

Comes the main day of the working - Saturday. Giza was extraordinary. Thanks to our splendid host, Nasr, who organised Sayyid to be our guide around the site, much of our way was smoothed (watchmen and camel drivers cajoled), allowing us to focus on our purpose and build the energy. In that way we travelled around the site, spending time in different locations, performing the rites.

That prepared us for the journey into the Great Pyramid, where the support structures created through people such as Sayyid could not follow. Here the 'jagged' energy rose up to meet us, in the form of aggressive authority. But now our own energy level was stronger and nothing that was thrown at us could thwart or divert it. In fact, the opposition that we faced merely fed us, making us stronger. We were a wave, rising ever upwards, pulling everything into it. The glamour that enveloped up must have been dazzling. When we came back out most of us were literally mobbed celebrity-style by throngs of teenage girls! I'm a performer, like many others who were there, but I've never experienced anything like it.

The evening portion of the ritual was held at the pyramids in Abu Sir. Almost to be expected it commenced with a misunderstanding. ..we were thinking that it was understood that we were going into a pyramid, and Nasr and the watchmen were thinking that we would use one of the (much easier to access) temples. "Why do you want to go into a pyramid?" Nasr asked with incredulity, "There's nothing there! Here, I'll show you!" And so he and the watchment led us along the path, and then we KNEW that we were going to the right place. The pyramid was before us, with a single star directly overhead and the way ahead flanked by two magnificant pillars, which we passed through with respect and power. We picked our way in the moonlight through the funerary temple ruins.

Into the dark tunnel of the pyramid and to a locked gate. This pyramid is never open to the public, as the structure collapsed inside during construction. None of the watchmen had the key with them so they broke into the pyramid with a rock! We lit a candle each and went in, clambering our way into the very centre of the pyramid. One of Lerry's photos shows what it was like in there. We each found a position that was more or less comfortable and blew out all of the candles.

It is interesting what you see when you spend an hour in the pitch-darkness of a pyramid.

The chanting, the silence, the glossolalia, was all breathtaking (no pun intended). I found myself singing absolutely beautiful songs, which invoked very particular images as if I was remembering events from my childhood. I was certain that I would remember them, but like Marc, much of what I spoke has receded again.

Something that I might describe as a blue-black dragon rose up in front of me and swept down my throat into my belly, where it resides still. I breathed its fire into the dark.

Hathor's mirror had been accompanying me throughout my travels in Egypt, and it also made an appearance inside the pyramid, spinning fast. That, as well as my Word and the image that accompanied it (I drew it on the parchment later that night), are all associated, for me, with the Necessary Opposite that we all have.

Dear Friends,

It's taken a while to re-adapt to the obviously schizophrenic Western culture (they're no less schizo in Egypt, but it's something I can handle better) -- also, I caught the Pharaoh's curse (also known as Montezuma's revenge) during the last day & spent more than a week with R&R after returning, re-centering, concentrating, contracting & isolating myself after 10 months of almost uninterrupted activity... and I still haven't even begun to estimate the vast potential of change radiating from that very special week.

Marc'Aurelio' s observations also crossed my thoughts -- that night was hilarious; like actually doing what you used to read in adventure novels for "young readers", with our bribed guides smashing open the lock to let us enter the vaults.... but I guess I share Liz' comments about the session inside the Great pyramid -- since she related the story so wonderfully, I don't have anything to add except for my impression of us appearing as a group *united by will* and forged together by action appeals to me as our strongest moment of actual togetherness, socially and ritually; perhaps as Liz stated, even more so due to attempts of repression by so-called authority.

Freedom of speech and freedom of religion go hand in hand, and neither must be sacrificed (at least not without the other ;-)

After returning to Germany, I spent the next morning in Munich having breakfast with some poet friends of mine from Nuremberg and Hamburg, for this very weekend Munich saw the finals of this year's national poetry-slam contest. A very befitting closure to a trip dedicated to the voice chakra...

EVAN FLUX (Melbourne, Australia):

Hello all. Thought I'd add my piece to the jigsaw puzzle that was the Global Vissudha working instigated from Egypt. Initially I planned to sit in my private abode (out the Back of the Jackson st commune in Northcote/ Melbourne Australia) to synchronise my tone chakra chanting with the rest of the planet's OrChids [nickname for members of the Order of Chaos] and allies. I told my house mates about these plans and they enthused about it so I asked them if they would like to join in. Danielle Anderson had worked with Metamorphic Ritual Theatre before (during the Odin Well of Remembrance "Le Pendu" workings as one of the Fates) and Kim has worked as an occult healer for years. Our respective affinities too sweet to refuse.

The three of us sat together in the lounge room around 2pm that sat (4th) afternoon and commenced a straight forward ritual of quietude, concentration and chanting. Before we began I spoke briefly about the context of the over all process of global activation which has been occurring over recent years with many thousands of people re-activating power spots around the world in Lew of the great awakening into the Aquarian dream of the dream time in conjunction with the 2012 cycle .I also asked those present to contemplate what we all need to express in our lives as the great awakening (Dream of reality) continues. I urged those present to focus on what may need expressing as we focused our chanting through the Vissudha chakra. We chanted three cycles through each chakra and nine on the Vissudha.

Just before we were about to begin I strolled into the kitchen while waiting for the others to assemble. Something on the table caught my eye under a pile of letters. I hadn't checked the mailbox the day before and so quickly glanced over the letters and bills to see what might be there. In retrospect it seemed rather odd that I would distract myself so while on the brink of commencing the ritual.
To my Awe -surprise there was a Double sized post card addressed to me by an obscure travel agency from Europe. I hadn't heard from them in nearly three years and was floored to see on the front of this giant post card a picture of the great pyramids of Giza !!! This Card had arrived within 24 hours of our little ritual and I could not help but interpret this as a sign that the Gods and universal forces were with us in this one of several link-ups from Melbourne to Egypt. I placed this Card on my altar soon after the ritual and still occasionally marvel at the synchronicity established with our friends in Saqqara.

During the ritual I contemplated the need for us all to express the Social Justice issues concerning the impending environmental catastrophe of Global Capital-isms unbalanced War-industries. Perhaps an Harmonic Worbbeling of the Hive Minds collective unconscious brought to the surface. I also contemplated the need to remain joyous in the moment and party like a freak where ever possible.

The build up to the 1st of November came via VipassanaMeditation - 10 days insilence...

...again, the irony in the silence is that I felt a lotof communication.

I decided to engage into the ritual on the reversal of9-1-1, that being November 1st.

For now, I'll leave it to a nut shell, but I had aprofound peak on the 4th when I was consentfullyabducted by Alien intelligence -- a weird sexualhara-kiri ensued, where my sexual organs were tamperedwith, but not one drop of fluid was spilled, as thisseemed to violate some cosmic agreement for the rite.

The transmission seemed clear on one message in regardsto an ambiguous Alien: Love --t r u s t



LODAN SETH (New York, USA):


The days leading into the weekend, during my morning chakra tones, I focused additional time and energy on the Vissuddha throat center.

On the evening of the 4th at the cafe/performance space I work on weekends, there was a performance by a trio of indigenous peoples born in the vicinity of the Andes (Svadisthana working). They spoke of changing the mindset of the world around us through multi-cultural co-operation and understanding (Anahata/13th Tribe). I also learned that earlier in the day (right around the time I imagine Orryelle's group was ritualizing in Egypt) two other non-western friends were practicing together in the same space, one (Lakota Native) playing pipes, the other (Bengali-born) performing throat singing.

After the evening's performance by Raices (the trio of S. American natives), we began the Full Moon drum circle at the start of which, I explained Orryelle's ongoing project of global chakra work, outlining the tones I would lead everyone through and the focusing on a word of power. For those without one in mind, I suggested LOGOS. (For this group ceremony, this was my chosen word as well, as I was waiting to receive a more personal one during my solitary rite the next night.) Standing at the microphone, I asked all to take a moment to create sacred space within themselves and expand it out, visualizing both the inner and outer to be one (helping our individual chakra vocalizations to resonate with the globe's vibrations) and led into the tones with impromptu mudras as we ascended up. At the throat, we observed an extended moment of silence as all focused on their word of power choice. I felt my own chakra's swirling energies expand out, extending the mudra, as well. At the peak, I returned to the 'eeeee' chant of the Vissudha chakra, continuing onto the upper three, Ajna, Bindu and Sahasrara. At the top, we returned to the bottom of the octave and grounded the energy raised with palms to the ground. I was surprised by the expressed power of the rite's effectiveness by those in attendance. I'm still getting used to leading and focusing group energies, I guess. Luckily, it seems very natural for me, neither overwhelming nor tending toward glorifying my ego in its successes.

The next night, after closing the cafe and waiting for all to exit, I set up temple space in the same middle room in which I did Full Moon work/play to synch with the London release of Emit fo YrotsriH... with four candles at the four cardinal directions. After numerous rounds of alternate nostril pranayama breathing, I worked up SilkMilk Elixir using the Kali-Kechari tongue mudra, anointing my chakras, skyclad. I then felt prepared to open the circle and begin the rite proper.

I invited the Elements and Divinities with my personal thunderbolt opening. Once finished, I performed the Egyptian Circle Casting provided on Orryelle's site, stumbling only once, slightly on the northern quarter. I then worked through the first four chakras, giving each five long, strong tones to build energy for the Vissudha opening. Having recently quit smoking tobacco cigarettes, I felt a strength of tone and support I hadn't experienced in a good while, very heartening as I let myself go to the work/play. At the throat tone, I had determined that I would do sixteen full tones to awaken my own and Gaia's Vissudha center. And the extended 'eeeee' certainly did that! As I worked through all sixteen, I experienced a few different things relevant to the synchronized rites.
The first and most striking being the metallic rattling tone already described by a number of participants. This brought Maatian hive thoughts to mind as well as providing a good 'exterior' resonance to my own vocals. Further complimenting this 'outside' experience was my own separation from the physical body. As my chants continued and spiralled forth, I felt my being expand out from the pinpoint of my material form and encompass a much larger experience with the 'other'. On later reflection, I was reminded of the union of Hadit and Nuit, a take on this experience I had not before thought of. (I have felt this sensation occasionally in different situations since I was a child.) Visually, as I soared through the astral atmosphere, I saw a great gout of blue flame erupt from the astral globe in the vicinity of AEgypt.
At different points, I sensed Orryelle's group in an underground chamber with four halls joining it. Once I had gone through the entire series of sixteen 'eeeee' tones, I lapsed into the chant I had formulated prior to the rite meant to evolve into glossolalia and my received word of power.

After cycling through this for a good time, I awaited in silence for the Word.
After the metallic buzz I had experienced earlier attempted to finalize into an actual word itself, I was struck by a totally different thing, realizing 'LOGOL' to be the word I was to receive in this rite. With this revelation, I picked up the chakra tones again, continuing to the crown and back down to ground. Hailing the canopic jars once more and thanking the Elements and Gods for their presence, I ended with a heartfelt (though hoarse) chuckle to banish with laughter.

It's good to be back, doing ritual again. It's been a long series of moons when I was doing only very limited work with my two initiatory groups. I look forward to a future in which my magickal voice is once again active and regular.

A cool change hit South Australia on SatyrDay. Thus our old creakyback-shed that houses my Giant^Puppets which is roofed.. well, inpatches, by thin metallic corrugated iron sheets, began rattlingcrazily.. chang-Chingy- cha-ching- CHUNG-CHUNG- Chang-chinga-langa-ching- ching-cha- Chiiing! Rattling and convulsing as the windspicked up and my own noise glossolalia began.. inspired by thePsyCore-Hyperspeed beats + tweaks of 'The Holy skies of Eden' byIsraeli musician-maeztro- Ellis Vanghoul, pumped into my brain viai-pod, and unable to escape the tinny-crashing noise of the shed, Ientered my studio/lair to initiate ritual.
Funny how i've been making noises like this and what you others have been describing for a whilenow.. leading up to this Global Chakra working. Realised I've been doing a noise progression/ expulsion like a chittering/chatteringinsect while tickling my newborn baby's tiny toes and belly for like6 months now, and it has been building in intensity (it's ok, it's ok,he does still have toes left and I exercise immense tenderness, truth+ fun) and this noise has gotten weirder + crazier as the days havegone on, causing huge baby belly-pixie- Laughgiggles and causing me toalways be jiggering about with my hed-fed techno making mad bug-sounds.
*Never really expected this bug essence to be honest and waspleasantly surprised when it linked to past encounters withinsect-intelligence via DMT, and Giant Dung-beetle Scarabmuscle-meltDown vision performance and Mantiss blessings/visitations.

So as the chanting went through each succession for me thisinternal metallic chizza-zizzing- chiming became one with the variouschakra tones, and the insect essence became undeniable at timesspilling forth from my mouth like freestyle rhyming-rhythmicjibb-jabba gibberSpeak glossolalia honey :

^Feeling the power of the insect interaction I have been appreciatingfor the last few years in South Australia- (constantly having friendlySpiders in my studio descend and weave webs about my fingers, thePraying Mantiss's that would always visit + bless my Giant-BugPuppets, and even the constantly annoying yet admirable buzz off thevampiric Mosquitos..)
..I focused into this clanging-chiming- zinging-metallic buzzing andfound many words and none.. all different and yet one. I foundmemories of vivid events and people to be streaking through me withintense clarity as time ceased to exist in the building spinningspiral of power. Admidst such Joy and Bliss and Pride I have beenexperiencing from being a FatherBeast again, I have also recently beenin the deepest pits of despair as I have lost a dear soul-bruthafriend of mine to Melanoma. The visions of him that spiralled fromthis chanting and buzzing were multi-layered memories which all hadseparate voices.. as i focused and tuned into each one they congealedand bled into one and this main multi-fed vison became the now and Iwas communicating directly to his spirit via- (as my 5 yr old daughteramazed by vampires and ghosts would tell you..) the Deadworld.. thelands inbetween. This was incredibly liberating and REAL for me and Iexpressed this to my dead friend Hayden, feeling such sadness and yetultimate melacholic bliss at what he was telling me- (he spoke of hisfamily + friends expressing his pain and love) while i thanked him andhe me, of the historic, beautiful crazy times and deep understandingswe had shared with each other.. we made our lives so much richer forknowing each other and simply existing, and I realised- he was such acatalyst key person in my life and inspiring artist.. if I had nevermet him I would not have met key people in my life like- Orryelle, andthings would have been very different for me (!) Hayden was alwayslanky and loopy + quite doglike as compared to my Wolvish-rattness soit was impressive to see and feel his vision transmogrify into anAnubis-like guardian placing a forked-key sigil within my heart..after feeling so hollow and heartbroken at his passing this felt sotruly invigorating + magical warmth flowed through me. My fresh tearsmixed with the flaming spell weavings exploding from my mouth and Iwatched them circle into the swirling whirlpool of many-spiritedmagick. The Gate I passed through became was a spiralling vortex ofunbeleivable strength, incredibly mind^orgasmic and fulfilling.. yetalso.. overwhelming. I felt upside-down looking into a vast EYE..surrounded, created by seas, waves of writhing black-shblue,white-silver meta^snakes. The vortex pulsed and pulled me in while iheeded th call and leapt into the core.. stretching astraldragonWolfCatPhoeni xwings..then pulling them close to my sides andFalling into the luminous black core.

^As I passed through several things happened.. The chanting andadjoining undeniable insectoid buzzing chiming-chittering became theone voice of the Godd-it-ess. . booming in it's zillion tongues yet,soothing and ecstatic, horrific as a part of it was screaming in painI found.. Gaia's voice pain and annoyance.. and suspense, impatience(!) don't mean to sound silly or disrespectful. . just what I felt,absorbed.

I could feel everyone as I fell, outstretched wing-arms with fingersspreading into limitless webStrands Io glided and phased into therealms inbetween.. next I surfaced from spiralling sands invertedpyramids of transparent blackness EyePortal vortexes at their tips inthe dreamSand.. I entered through the eye of Horus, feeling theessence of my 6 month yr old boy and his Fremen-like Deep cystalBluehawk eyes.. the blessed monkey-wizard child- Phoenix Wolf Morpheus..as I coursed through I rose up through Orryelle's Cyclops-Eye tattooon the top/back of his head seeing his glowing blue eyes behind hisface while arching his back as I surfaced as a Golden-feathered aspfrom his forehead.. unfurling fronds (?) peacock-feathers, mane-webtendrils..(? !) Roared as Hathor, stretched as Bast.. serious :)I envisioned and felt the Power of thecircle, the darkness..yet illuminated tomb, and had the feeling ofseeing through their eyes while the lids were closed.. the crownchakra tone sent this ultra-violet lucid vision into ecstatic spiralwave after wave and I found my corporeal body-form spiral-dancing as amadzub.. reflecting this inner/transported state.

This/was So IMPortant, I have unconsciously been preparing for this working for a while nowand my friend's passing to the other side was a beautiful guide andactual blissful realization that we- (all of us) can communicate soclearly and truly when we freeflow.. I am so proud of everyone forparticipating and much much kudos to all involved and to our dearmulticultural magi friends who augmented this Vissudha working..(Thanx Orryelle, Giselle.. etc.)

After the ritual I have been very blissed out with anenigmatic Sphinx-Cheshire smile.. for someone who talks a lot andspins many a tale, i feel quite overwhelmed and humbled this week :)

AZAKA (Auckland, New Zealand):

Full Moon, November 4th 2006. Global Throat Chakra working.

We gathered again, tonight at Harmony Farm. This is a private 70 acre native bush regenerating forest. In a clearing is some signs of man, gardens sheds and a fine flat area of gravel for us to work our Magicks in. We had been here last week for Beltane. Well OK the focus of the last meeting was a celebration of 5 years of the Farm, but it had all the features of Beltane and so it was for me.

Day light saving means it stays light for some time, with the sun setting at 8.30pm and the moon rise at 6.58pm. This was to be fine, gives us time to get there and set up, and the moon was high in the sky when we began so it too shone over the surrounding trees.

Fr Gawain commented on how peaceful it was at the clearing, with birdsong and no noises of man, that will change I said.

Once set up we had a wee bit of theory, I had already sent the format out but as one of the folk there had never been to our Rites there was some talk. Infact I thought there may well be a lot of talk at a throat Chakra working. Three were to attend the start of the rite.

The fire lit we began with some drumming to settle us down. The NOVT opening was used next with MaRaSsa being invoked with drum veve and mantra. Next was Legba the crossroads being put in the center of the other veve, making a fine pyramid base. There was some good drumming come thru with this veve. Offerings were made, and the pipe offered to Legba was lit and the new pyramid smudged with the smoke of the herb of India. The veve was also gridded with crystals, a fluorite pyramid was placed in the center. This crystal has had a lot of use in the past workings with the Red and Black Temple.

By now I was in my shorts and shirt, the blanket/robe I use for these was removed for the veve making, as it was going to smudge the patterns as I did it. The night was so warm that we only needed the fire to keep the drums in tune.

We gathered around the veve, using the Great and Holy Mantra of Thelema as a way of making a closer contact with the work being done around the world and especially in Egypt this night. Drums were going all through this part and through the NOV T part as well.

Then around the veve, we had not practiced the Chakra tones provided and to do so at this time would have made some confusion, so we planned to use the Eeee at from the throat . We had I think three turns at this, with only three ritualists and none of us confident public singers this was not as good as it could have been, but we did OK. We had some fine resonant chants, with some interesting variations. Sadly we did not have any idea of the note we were to song on, we just did it. My idea was to do this, and not worry about being right. Our work was right for us that night!

Another short break, where we discussed the dedication of Orryelle's team as reported in the ayers rock working on his www. As I thought some conversation.

As we decided to dance and drum away the veve another new man arrived, a bit late but in time for some drumming. A few small sets of adlib drumming, focussing on the moon and earthing the power of the rite via the great pyramid in the desert lands.

We then danced and drummed away the fine veve we had made. As Fr Gawain had a big day on Sunday we packed up and went home, after 2 hours or more of fine drums and chants. The latecomer is keen to come again and on time this time. We may be invited to use this spot again, I am not sure.

This was to be the best in the current series of full moon rites. We have been outdoors since July, and have had OK weather but is has been cloudy. This night was to be very clear and the circle was illuminated by the rays of the Moon. There was no chance here of any surprise visitors as the farm is well off the beaten track although only a 15 minute car ride from Dunedin.

Dora & I cast circle as usual, using the chakra tonesbeforehand to center, balance & unify our intent &plus to give it a run through. Even that waseffective; it seemed "suddenly easy" to lock onto/intothis operation.
We substituted "7 gathering breaths" for the 20minutes of pranayama.

Invoked Karnayna & Andred. Somehow this seemed tofit for us & I think that personal, climatological &varied cultural perspectives toward the same goal addto the whole. Since we weren't all that familiar withall of the [Egyptian] forms Orryelle had suggested, wewent with what seemed to work from our POV. Gaia byany other name...

Also, it being Samhain & an Esbat, we called upon theancestors to help in this effort, this felt like itlent great support. After all, they too have a vestedinterest.

Roughly faced Giza, began tones. Oh, we used recordeddrumming music (the new CD by David Macejka, "Hunto")so as to not interfere with the actual scale-notes ofthe tones. We also, as some have reported found ourown relative pitch & ran with it. After the throatchakra we drifted in the ensuing vibrant silence. Ialmost immediately started getting a stream ofvocalizations & tried to write it down, scrawling asbest I could. In looking back at it, it soundsChinese, but I actually had the impression,fleetingly, that it originated in Mongolia. It felt asthough I were tapping into someone else doing thiswork, but not necessarily 'now'. We Did ask forancestral support & I had the concept come with thistransmission that it was someone who has beenassisting in these 'initiations of Gaia' for a long,Long time.
Then, there was one line in Latin (?!). There is one word of it I cannot find, that being"ITAM". Any clues? 451 to my simplistic qaballah.I'll post the transliteration (of the "oriental") ifanyone cares, but it is just a phoneticised scribblingas best as I could do. Maybe I should have let itpass, it probably being signal crossover. It justseemed important, intuitively, to try to write itdown. Dora actually got a nice, succinct w o r d, which she is working on unravel ling.

During the "Eeeee-" tone, it all seemed very connected.
To all ofyou participating, to the Earth, to the groove of whatwe were doing.

I also had the wandering vocalisations...I'd start ona specific key then found I was freeforming; much asI've done before when my guide was giving me his namethrough key notes.

Many faces impressions passed through my mundanereflection, and though this is normal within the way Iwork...the current I was working with this weekendaccessed ALL my guides/aspects of my guide/physicalimagery or manifestations of my guide(s) which isunusual

I didnt taste metal; however my main visual was of apyramid?mound with point? that was alive with metallicworm like objects; a bit like 'Tron' imagery in a way

I'm still mulling things into place; distractedsomewhat by mundane world occurances gettingsomewhat...intense!

Was exhausted (thats what lying on the beach all day does to you) and discovered Rhodes mem was closed at night so I opted to work out on my balcony under the stars, lucky for me the street lights were off so I could see plenty.
Middle pillar using Babylonian God names followed by the vowel chakra intonations, down then up then down again, the throat chakra was a miniature brilliant purple 3D tree of life, the bisecting paths made it look like a gem. Also very metallic sounding.
Gazed up at the moon , complete silence followed and was interupted by thought of a big stone grazing through the sky from East to West and plonking silently in the ocean (Daath to Yesod?), not cataclysmic as such a thing could be, more like a planting and cooling.
Went off to bed as my eyes were watering from tiredness.

I very much also had the barrier breaking sensation- it was somewhat uncomfortable until passed through, and followed a very forceful rise of energy in the preceeding section! Also the sense of other voices combined- I could not help feeling on reading your account that we must have had quite congruent expereinces on some of this...I didn't get the noodles though!

At the end I also agree on the implulse to let the tone wander... as I did this, I felt myself resonating in different places as the pitch changed, while at the same time increasing the flow though the throat.

As to the word part- for me this was a little different, as I had been moved to make a "rehearsal" of the rite the day before, while relaxing in the bath... and it was during that "rehearsal", where my expectations were of course lowered, that I recieved what communication I did; of course I had not planned on that, and on being told to fetch pen and paper had to jump up and run for it eureka-style lol

During the rite itself all I had during the comparable stage was a clear time of meditation upon the "word" which had developed from the varying sounds of the night before :)

(NB, in the bath- rehearsal I sang the tones unaided, during the rite proper I played the tones given on the site and sang along, which may have increaed my sense of many joining with me, and possibly helped me linking in- did other people rely on their own senses to find the pitch, or use the tones given?)

Lu (Martini) and I sat on the new bed, which faces the fretful moon, and sang. Before we had even started, there was the sound of many many voices. Many times many! Halfway up the pillar, they became metallic, and there was a raspy sound along with them. This was from the throat chakra, and then it felt as if we had broken through some barrier-anyone else feel that?
We went on singing and it felt easier, but the voices were gone, the strange metallic sound was gone. In its place was -I'll have to refer to analogies here-if music was like a wet noodle all swirled about, it would sound like this. Very strange. it seemed to take off on its own, and no longer felt like my voice.Perhaps I simply lost control? In the wet noodle there was a presence. So rather than trying to take control of my own sounds, I let the notes go where they may (kind of an oral equivalent to automatic writing). What did they say? I do not know. I listened for a word, but found nothing pronounceable-except the strange notes that few through my mouth-not part of any modal system I have ever heard.

First impressions after the ritual- it was fun!

Im not sure if it is from the Hathor rite I used as an intro or from thegenerally positive spin of the whole thing- but Im left a bit giddy & happyover it all- considering the elections coming up here this is a rather novelmood-


My rite:

Sat- 2 pm PSTIn Yurt Temple- before my Hathor/venus altar (which I use for 11*) -
crystals from egypt, egyptian incense, Hathor image, orange, wine & panpipes etc etc-
Prepared: An empty blown out egg, painted black. This placed in the loop,standing, of the prone ceramic ankh.

All the various animalistic participants-shadows-Ka swirled about thisamazing spectacle- like some fort of FX scene.

At the throat- the vision I got was of an Ankh with the loop-hole being THEVOID, Akasha, a Black Egg- a very nifty image

When I uttered my Word it flew like a spark joining many others in thewhirlwind, coalescing into the center of Akasha-egg as a StarAll the Stars raining down swirled into a galazy-point- star andI Uttered my Word as this Star into the hollow Egg, earthed in Gaia
