In the 13-tribe weaving, twelve initiates each
represented one of the Twelve Tribes or source-races of
humanity. These
representatives each had a strong cultural
resonance with the tribe they are representing and additionally
direct blood links in most cases.
These twelve initiates were woven together -both
etherically and with physical threads through
piercings ritually executed in
the Anahata chakra of each -by a Thirteenth, who
'may wear a triple veil'- such a task would be
difficult for a single
weaver, and will thus probably be represented by three
as the triple goddess. Thus the eight-limbed (two legs
and six arms)
Arachne/Kali, composite of the Three Fates/Norns
(spinner, weaver, cutter), weaves together the Twelve
Tribes by each chakra
point (the seven). While only the Anahata chakras were
woven together physically, the extended chanting of
the seven
chakra tones created, 'Vibrations from Vissudha
(throat chakra) activating all'. This is the 'scales
of the serpents' in the verse
above, the ascending octave of chanted chakra tones
activating kundalini.
Seven and Thirteen are the sacred numbers of both the
Jews and the Mayans, who prophesise the return of
Quetzalcoatl/
Kukulkan ('feathered serpent') in 2012 when we aim
to culminate this work at Gaia's Crown Chakra.
Quetzalcoatl
represents the kundalini, the twin serpents Ida and
Pingala (the 6 and the 9, on the Tree of Life sun and
moon/ male and
female energies) -also known as Od and Ob in Hebrew
mysticism- raised up the spine by the activation of
the chakras, whose
seven colours form the Rainbow -thus the Thirteenth
Tribe are the Warriors of the Rainbow as in the Hopi
Prophecy.
When I first received the vision of the 13th Tribe
weaving, I knew it connected the Rainbow Tribe (in its
true, broad sense),
Arachnean magic, and Maat magick. It was only after I
read Kenneth Grant's 'Outside the Circles of Time'
(Muller, 1980)
that the pieces all fell into place and I was able to
assemble my channelings into the poetry above. Grant's
work draws
connections between Arachnean and Maatian
magick.
The Following Description is as I wrote it years ago, with only the tense changed now that the Working has Manifested:
The magickal current of Maat is one which
balances the 'Aeon of Horus'
inaugurated by Crowley in 1904; we are indeed emerging
from the patriarchal Age of Osiris (age of the father)
into the age of
the Child, but that of the daughter (Maat) as
well as the son (Horus); the age of the twins,
united as the
hermaphrodite -an aeon of balancing
between male and female (and other) dualities.
Frater Achad ('Unity', which equals 13 in
Qabbalistic Gematria) who first channeled the Maat
current, received as
one of its symbols the 13-point star-diamond,
over which were arranged the letters of the 13-letter
word:
'Ma-nifestat-ion', to ground the
energies of the Ma(at)-ion/aeon into the here and
now.
Such a mandala was formed by the 13th-Tribe
weaving, in a very Manifest form. 13=1.
Such a powerful group chakra working is being
performed progressively at each of Gaia's (the Earth
as a living entity) seven
chakra points (the first four such global chakra
rites have now been completed), microcosmic resonances
with Gaia's own
rising kundalini - the awakening Rainbow
Serpent of Australian Aboriginal mythology (whom
the Aborigines say rises
at the end of time), called by the Norse the Midgard
Serpent (who also rises at 'Ragnarok' -the 'end of the
world') by the Greeks
Ouroboros and by the Babylonians Tiamat ('serpent of
chaos who sleeps at the bottom of the ocean of time'),
and the return of
Quetzalcoatl (the 'Feathered Serpent' akin to the
Greek caduceus staff) prophesied by the Mayans to
occur on Solstice 2012
with the end of their calendar.
Thus all mythologies coalesce towards the year 2012,
by which time the kundalini of the collective
consciousness should be
sufficiently awakened to bring about the prophesied
paradigm shift (the end of time/ the world as we know
it). Activating group
kundalini at each of Gaia's chakras via these
weavings, progressively towards 2012, will help to
resonate humanity's awakening
Groupmind with the intense awakening of these Great
Serpents, the Ida and Pingala of Gaia's kundalini.
The Thirteenth Tribe Weaving was a
balancing ceremony between solar and lunar energies.
It began in the
afternoon, with the sun beating down on the twelve
initiates as they were woven together by the Thirteenth
in the centre,
connected with thread by their own Anahata (heart)
chakras to each other.
Arachne at the centre is at this stage the weaver
between heaven and earth, bringing in messages from
Hunab Ku, the
Mayan term for the Galactic Core or 'womb of the Great
Mother', echoed in the microcosm by the weaver as the
maternal
aspect of Kali; re-establishing our connection with
the stars via our own sun and those of Sirius (Horus
current) and
Andromeda (Maat current).
The Weaver connects the twelve initiates to
represent the union of the Twelve Tribes to form the
Thirteenth, the emerging
multi-cultural Global Tribe. The twelve-pointed star
thus formed also suggests the traditional solar
12-month zodiac.
Much has been made of the 'Glastonbury
Zodiac' -shapes of animals and figures in the
landscape in and around
Glastonbury which reflect the zodiacal constellations
in the sky above each corresponding geographical
formation. As a
twelve-pointed star at the central Tor (the spiral
throat of the Aquarian Phoenix configuration), the
13th-Tribe weaving created
yet another microcosm of this.
Each initiate here also represented one of the
Twelve Petals of the symbolic group Anahata
Chakra unfolding, for in
the Hindu Tantric tradition of 'chakra-puja' a chakra
can be a circle of initiates (a 'Kaula') as well as a
centre within an
individual's body. The piercings through the chest are
reminiscent of the Hopi Indian sundance ceremony. (The
Mayans, I may
add, achieved trance to 'see the vision-serpent' by
passing barbed ropes through their tongues and
penises. Piercing as a form
of gnosis is an ancient tradition.)
Then at dusk (the 'even-ing' between dark and light,
sun and moon) the Weaver wove hirself in, as the
13th Tribe is
symbolically formed. As the moon rises, the Weaver
moves out to become the thirteenth point in the
star-web, which then
represents:

*The 13-point
star-diamond of Ma-nifestat-ion (outer star of
illustration at left) chanelled by Achad ('Unity') on
initial receipt of the Maat
current, signifying it's earthing in this
Aeon;
*The Lunar Zodiac of which Arachne is the Thirteenth
sign;
*The 13-baktun time-map of the Mayans, the
Thirteenth point ofwhich represents the final
baktun/cycle from 1992 to
2012 -the Solar Age (glyph: AHAU);
*The Global Unity of all peoples and
cultures as the Thirteenth
Tribe.
