7 O'Clock, The 21st day of June 2003, Parliament Hill, Hampstead Heath. Solstice!
Eight Stars descended on Boudicca's Mound. A Low Priestess of the Moon, bringing news from the Amazon, came with a travelling companion bearing the energies of dark Aphrodite. Lugh was there too, Solar mediator, carrying the energies of the Fairae Hills of Erin to this great barrow in Elon's Land. With him came the nomad's friend, Hermes, who brought a brooding son of Great Nia from a nearby Grove of Mars, to the South. A Dragon Queen, initiated in Bali, brought her Saturnine teachings from the Orient and offerings to the Serpent/Dragon of the Hill. While a jovial, ivy clad disciple of the Ancient One looked on in his bliss. West, North, East, South all there. The Seven Stars brought together by an Eighth, the Serpent Priestess, The Weaver - Ariadne. An Eighth witch (sic) makes whole and completes the Octave, the male and female elements balanced 4 by 4.
The Four Elemental Powers called up by the Dragon Queen, the Lusty Serpent called out of the Hill by Ariadne. The Rite had begun. The local Kundalini, of place and person, was awakened. Invisible watchers surrounded us, their secret eyes peering into our minds.
As the Snake was praised and sent on hir 8 step circuit around the Mound, Invocations of the Rising Serpent and Solstical Evocations were voiced by all. Contact with both the Chthonian Serpent and the Celestial Dragon achieved.
Suddenly the Serpent split in two. Revealing itself as the twin currents of the Kundalini, the Red and the White, mirrored in the twin springs of Glastonbury, the Heart Chakra of the World and the Omphalos of our Isles. The place where the opposites cum together and unity emerges in diversity.
A bridge of water connected the 8 to the Glastonbury Rite, as the cup was passed and the juice of the vulva was sipped. Alas symbolically. All waters being one, the Well of Glastonbury was brought to the Mound.
Unity Reigned.
The Great Waters from which all emerged were contemplated and the serpentine flow that brings all things together made clear.
The Heart Chakra opening as its intoned seed sound echoed across the Mound.
Then the Weaving. As Ariadne wound her blood red thread around the circle of initiates, thoughts on compassion, solidarity, unity and oneness were expressed, as well as on our own uniqueness within that unity. The 8 realised their brotherhood, and sisterhood, in blood and freedom. A rootless union comprised of nothing but intent, of love and of the one Kaos that is the only foundation. A unity of nomads and free spirits, followers of the Rainbow Serpent.
In this, a silent recognition was made of our nomadic ancestors, as well as the nomads of today (those seeking freedom, those seeking peace and those seeking asylum).
As 3 Faces of the Goddess departed, to spread the magickal energies of the rite, a rememberance of the Celestial Dragon was made, by the remaining 5 - the Four Masculine Elements and the Central Ether-Dragon, born of Light.
The Dragon of Order was counterpoised with its kin, the Serpent of the Unstable Waters which precedes it,and the role of Power and Order acknowledged. The Preservation of the Primal Ordering was declared an act of Love not Domination. The Dominion of All within a Culture of Unity against the forces of atomization and decay.
And then the energies of the rite were sent out - merging with those radiating from and awakening Glastonbury's Ancient Hill. Anahata Awake! The Elemental Powers thanked and given leave to depart, the circle was opened and the feasting began.

Linked RITE at the SERPENT MOUND (Indian Earthworks) in OHIO, USA
Concerning our nodes solstice rite: It was very interesting. We did the rite a little bit later in the afternoon than we expected too. When we (Frater SayKayWazKay/Daniel, Nikki & Android) got there (serpent mound) a ritual of sorts was already taking place that we were able to participate in before we began ours. We did some drumming and music making. Since the other people were already doing something there, it made us feel more comfortable with what we were going to do. The energy was extremely powerful. My friend Android was wearing a Coil (the band) t-shirt with a chaos emblem on it. We had listened to Coil on the way up to the mound, a CD of theirs that was recorded on the summer solstice (they did a series of cds for the solstices and equinoxes). After the first rite someone came up to Android and said that he knew the people in Coil, and that he made their t-shirts for them. Later on in the evening when we were back in the city someone else mentioned the group to Andy and the fact that they had met them as well at a dance club in Thailand (we were getting Thai carry out). So there were some interesting synchronicities relating to that group. Android also had a frisbee that we used as an altar on the ground with a 13 pointed star on it. Daniel and I had made a 13-pointed star talisman the night before which we placed on the altar.
After the opening 8-fold banishment, LBRP, Nikki invoked Maat, & then we invoked the 12 signs of the zodiac, after that we anointed ourselves with water from Chalice Well, Glastonbury and did the chakra toning. The chakra toning is a part of my regular sadhnah (although I usually use Jonathan Goldman's system, for the ritual we used your method to be in sync (no, not the pop group) with the other ritualists around the world. The energy that was generated was tremendous. The four of us were sitting around the altar and the vibrations and kundalini that were raised were literally mindblowing.
Before the ritual and for some instances afterwards I have been dealing with some small pains in various areas of my chest, which I felt was my meridians opening up, releasing blockages in the heart chakra area. So I feel that the ritual helped me to release the illusionary fears that were causing some of those blockages.
All agreed about the intensity of it and we all saw many swirling colours particularly green and purple. Android heard an external voice whisper something to him something that sounded like keper, or keefer, or kelfer almost like Kether but not exactly.
After meditating on the energies for awhile we invoked Green Tara to experience her benevolence and compassion.
Daniel also figured out some elaborate relations between lucid dreams he was having, the number thirteen, and Tara. After that we drank the rest of the water from Chalice Well, and closed the temple.
Later that week Daniel and I buried the Talisman we had consecrated in the ceremony in my back yard. It was wonderful; we had another little impromptu rite then.
I definitely feel that the Heart Chakra has been opened up. This work of reactivating the sacred power sites is very important, and as it happens the weaver threads the web connecting all the 13th tribe together.
About the spider mound in newark, I learned from someone at the Serpent mound that there is a golf course built directly on that site, supposedly to "preserve" the site, but to me that is such a mockery!
They said it is not accessible (unless you are a golfer). So maybe I will have to become a golfer to do an Arachne Invocation there at the 8th or 13th hole. I will be doing some more research about that site and will let you know of any further developments.

SERPENT MOUND RITE ACCOUNT II:
The 13th tribe working went great. We only had four individuals involved but all turned in
well. During the chakra chanting i felt a great force behind my voice, it seemed as if I could
effortlessly maintain the intonations for a great deal of time. At several points I could observe with
my eyes closed a green energy which would flood my vision. A feeling of enormous strength
would arise within and I felt a force of inertia that seemed to be pushing me on towards the
completion of my True Will.
Since the ritual i have felt a noticeable change within my outlook and
overall perception. The first two nights after the ritual i had lucid dreams in which i experienced Kundalini explosions that escalated me into a violet/white energy field in which I had become not
only immersed in but had also become that energy itself. A great feeling of estatic joy existed here
and I awoke laughing outloud.
It would seem I am becoming more of aware of each thought I
experience as if I am catching up to all the unconscious thought processes that ceaselessly
revolve in the mind. I am becoming aware of each thought as it arises and can then make the
conscious thought to alter it or manipulate as need be. This is reflecting in my actions and
interactions with the Universe around me.
I am learning to create my own rituals drawing from my
inner experiences and ideas, which of course are highly influenced by everything the sponge of
mind can soak up and absorb.This is very liberating to me since it has long been my Will to create
my spiritual practices from authentic individual symbols. This is now coming to Life.

LINKED RITE from WASHINGTON, DC:
Preceded with Seidreiki Sadhana, scratched Manifestation star in to skin on chest over Anahata Chakra with lancet, visualized strongly a Hexagram doubling to a dodecagram and adding one point, had strong sensation of standing in a circle of people, across from a tall, thin fellow with disheveled black/dark brown hair. Really strong vibe of 13th Tribe (a concept I didn't link to as strongly before).
I tuned in, definitely felt the connection strongly but no earth-shattering experiences or anything. Kind of like what happened with me on the Manipura Rite.
